Lost and Found Early Westies.

these pictures came from Dave Ruby.  his grandfather was the original owner of the bus.  his father can be seen as the oldest boy in the color photo.  Dave's grandfather bought this bus was in the San francisco auto show in the fall of '57.

the Ruby family sold this bus in California in the mid to late 60s.  if anybody knows the whereabouts of this, please let me know and I will pass the information on to Dave who would be very happy to find it.  this bus can be identified by two features, the large mercury front bumper and the corvair engine that was installed in 1960.  perhaps the first (and unfortunately not the last) corvair into bus conversion.
